Hi, I am Marrit Kirkenier!

I'm a creative storyteller, freelance graphic designer and owner of Uniek. I strive to provide authentic and inspiring experiences for my clients while crafting unique design solutions.

I first started in communications and marketing over 10 years ago and quickly specialised in visual communications with a focus on photography, videography and graphic design. I moved into designing creative content and website maintenance in the local government space and after a number of years decided to set up Uniek, a freelance graphic design business with a focus on branding and marketing. I'm originally Dutch but made the move to New Zealand 7 years ago. Apart from being a creative storyteller I'm also a big film buff, sports, food and dog enthusiast (not necessarily in that order) and always aim to start my days with a stretch, a few deep breaths and a coffee (yes, precisely in that order).
